My Account
Overview
The “My account” section on our e-shop has gotten a facelift, access it by clicking on the “My Wurth” section on the top right of the website when logged in then clicking my account. The redesign of the My Account area was driven by the need to enhance user experience and streamline navigation.
My Account
The new My Account area features a unified structure where chapters, pages, and functions have been merged and consolidated into one place. This integration allows users to access all necessary functionalities and settings without switching between different pages or chapters.
List of your orders
You can find a record of all your previous orders under the list of your orders section. It usually displays last two weeks information. You can filter a couple of months back but not earlier than January 2025.
Approvals
You can find the orders that are awaiting approval under the approval section. If you are the person that needs to approve a shopping basket (approver) it will appear under “To be approved”. If your shopping basket needs to be approved by someone else it will appear under “waiting for approval”.
Favourites
You will find the products that you have clicked favourites on under the favourites tab in shopping lists. There is now a search function that makes it easier to find the products. Products can be added or deleted from basket with one click, you can also adjust the quantity.
Order templates
On the order templates tab under shopping lists you will find your order templates. You can edit, share, view details, delete and add the order template to the shopping basket. You can share the template with all users under your customer number and pick who can see it.
Order proposals
Order proposals has been moved to shopping lists and you can now select the products that you want to add to the shopping basket from there.
My profile
The settings section under my profile has been divided into 3 main sections namely my profile, company and other users. In the settings sections you can update general settings, orders settings, delivery address, email preferences, budget, cost unit and the data used to log into the website.
My profile settings
In general setting under my profile you can set what language you want to use, how many lines do you want to see on one page and if you want the items to be priced per unit piece. You can also set whether you want the prices to be visible or not.
Order parameters
In settings for orders you can set the order that your templates will appear in, have an additional email address that receives order emails and the order confirmation format.
Value limits
You can set the value limits of your orders with a minimum and maximum value.
Approval process
You can set up an approval process and whether orders need to always be approved or not
Delivery address
You can create and edit your delivery address
Email Newsletter
You can opt in and out of different emails sent out by Wurth including a reminder of an abandonded shopping cart
Profile budget
You can also set a budget for your profile which can assist to keep in track of spending for the given period
Cost unit
You can to set the date e.g. for a week or month and select the amount which you have available in your budget to spend. Once you have reached your limit, you will not be able to process any orders. This helps the customer to control their budget and eliminate overspending.
Access data
You can edit your log in name and change your password; however, you need to know your password to change it using this method.
